Crafted from solid walnut and lined with a rich velvet insert, this jewellery tray was designed in collaboration with the the jewellery brand Otiumberg and features a delicately embroidered rose motif.

When beginning research for this design I wanted to reflect sisterhood, which led me to the story of Snow White and Rose Red. In this German fairy tale, twin rose trees inspire the sisters’ names and reflect their contrasting natures. The rose itself is a universal symbol of love, with yellow roses often chosen to represent friendship.
