Floriography

My first collection of jewellery trays is centred on the Victorian language of floriography - a clandestine form of communication that emerged in 1819 with Charlotte de la Tour’s Le Langage des Fleurs. The "language" flourished throughout the 19th century as a way to send coded messages of affection.
